La dame du lac

This picture was created in 2013 for the exhibition, Ardenne and Brittany, distant sisters, organised by the Centre for Imagination Arthurian. Unable to find someone with enough free time to pose for this picture I ended up painting myself as The Lady of the Lake. I thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of the situation to make myself young again and with wondrous hair and clothes, that’s the magic of paint!
